Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts Foundation
The PFFM Foundation built this as a private first step — a calm, judgment-free place to look around, learn what helps, and reach out when you're ready. No account. No tracking. Just support, on your own terms.

Why we built it
The PFFM Foundation already runs peer support, partners with clinicians who understand the job, and offers behavioral-health resources for members and their families. The help is real and it's there.
What's hard is picking up the phone and explaining, out loud, that something is going on. So we built this app to make that first move smaller — open it, look around, use whatever helps, and close it.
Watch a two-minute video today. Try a breathing exercise next week. Call peer support whenever you decide to — or never. Nothing here pushes you faster than you want to go.
What's inside
Pick the one that fits right now. You can always come back and pick another.
Guided breathing and grounding exercises you can run in 1–5 minutes — after a call, between runs, or before you drive home.
Try a resetPlain-language articles, audio, and videos on stress, trauma, sleep, burnout, grief, and substance use — filter by what you need.
Browse resourcesShort, real stories from firefighters who've been through it — because sometimes the most useful thing is hearing you're not the only one.
Hear storiesPeer support and clinicians who understand the fire service, with a directory that lets you reach out when you're ready.
Find someoneCrisis lines and emergency resources, reachable from every screen in the app — one tap, any time.
Crisis resourcesA dedicated space for spouses and family members who want to understand what their firefighter is carrying and how to help.
For familiesBuilt around real moments
Each path leads to the tools, reading, and people that fit that moment.
Private by design
So we made sure there's almost nothing to see. Here's what that means in practice.
There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to remember. The app opens and works the moment you arrive.
We don't collect what you read, which exercises you try, or who you're here for. There are no analytics watching you.
Read one article today. Try a breathing exercise next week. Call peer support whenever you decide to — or never.

Open the app and take whatever's useful. Leave the rest. Nobody's tracking your visit.
